Okay, full disclosure, I am a St. Louis Cardinals fan and really do not like the Chicago Cubs, never have, never will.
That said, I thought it was cool that after 108 years, the Cubs can actually be called world champions. Cubs fans are some of the most loyal in sports, they'd have to be to stick with a team that continually breaks their hearts on a yearly basis. But with their 8-7 victory over the Cleveland Indians in Game 7 of the World Series on November 2, 2016, the fans were rewarded richly.
Enjoy this now, Cubs fans, you deserve it.
